Wong Fei Hung Shirts

We've got a tee design that pays tribute to the coolest of oldschool kung fu movie heroes, Wong Fei Hung as portrayed by Kwan Tak Hing.

Kwan Tak Hing played Master Wong, who was a real-life Chinese doctor and kung fu hero, in at least 77 films, a record for recurring film roles as a single character. Being a doctor, Master Wong would always treat the villains after he was done whupping them in battle. Most of the old Wong Fei Hung films are lost, but if you want to check out a couple of great movies, seek out MAGNIFICENT BUTCHER and DREADNAUGHT.

Tsui Hark

One of my favorite filmmakers, Tsui Hark, profiled on Jonathan Ross' INCREDIBLY STRANGE FILM SHOW back in 1989.

Eastern Condors

One of my favorite Hong Kong movies is Sammo Hung's men on a mission flick, Eastern Condors.

In promoting the movie, the cast showed up in costume to perform a live peking opera style show during a 1987 Hong Kong beauty pageant, and it's a marvel to see how physically talented performers like Yuen Wah (don't miss his incredible entrance at 1:23 in the 1st clip) are without wires or edits:
